"Come follow me," Jesus said, "I will make you fisher of men."  Matthew 4:19

Thank you for your interest in United Baptist Church through our website.

Much has happened over the course of the last ten days impacting just about every part of our lives, which has created a difficult time for our families, church, community, and country.  Due to this situation, United Deacons and pastors have been praying, discussing, and meeting to respond in the best possible manner for our church and community.  We always desire to seek God’s direction for our church in the decisions we make.

While we all have a deep desire and need to come together corporately in our church facility and worship, we also have a desire and responsibility to protect our church family and community from the spread of disease. We do not believe the intent of the government and CDC recommendations to limit gatherings are targeting churches, but the intent is to slow and stop the progression of the virus.

Therefore, due to the current situation regarding COVID-19, church leadership has decided to suspend all activities at the church from March 22 through April 8th.  We are currently working on a live feed on Facebook for those who have an account. It will be called United Baptist Church. Updates on its progress will be communicated soon.

We WILL worship together via conference call each Sunday at 10:30 am and Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Call 425-436-6335 no more than five minutes before the designated start time.  You will be asked for an access code 528222 then press # and you will join the call.

You will be able to listen to Pastor Robert bring the message and you will be heard by everyone on the call when he asks for prayer request.

Our deacons are here to serve you.  If you have any personal, physical, or spiritual need, please call one of your deacons or contact the church by phone or email.  As a church we want to “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

As a church, you are aware we are dependent upon God’s people giving through tithes and offerings. Please mail these to the church at 7319 Valley Falls Rd, Spartanburg SC 29303 or call on a deacon to pick up. Thank you for your continued support.

Please be in prayer for our government leaders, health care workers, those infected and their families, our church, community, and country.

Peace I leave with you: my peace I give to you.  Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.  Jesus

Church Vision

Proverbs 29: 18
Where there is no vision the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

If God's people will concentrate on the harvest, God will take care of the barns.
