About Us

United Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church in full cooperation with the Spartanburg County Baptist Network, the South Carolina Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.  Our church was formed in January 2008 when Hayne Baptist, Northview Baptist, and Saxon Baptist churches merged to form one body of believers. We have Cambodian and Hispanic congregations meeting simultaneously.

Our church covenant and doctrinal beliefs are based on The Baptist Faith and Message. We are a Bible believing, Christ honoring, and people-loving church family. We offer an atmosphere of traditional worship. Our preaching is Bible-based, practical and relevant; and you will learn how to apply God's Word to everyday life.

You will find that the majority of our congregation dresses casually, while a few choose to dress up. We welcome you to come and worship with us and to share in God's love and the fellowship of His people at United Baptist Church.
