Nursing Home

"In 1977 God led one of our members to begin teaching Sunday School at Lakeview Nursing Center (later changed to Valley Falls Terrace).  Later, she and volunteers began a Saturday monthly meeting consisting of  a devotional time and refreshments. These two activities continued for many years. The monthly meeting was later changed from Saturday to weekly meetings on Monday and Thursday for Bingo supported by six volunteers. One day of the week is designated as visitation day. Today, a teacher and two volunteers teach Sunday school.

At Christmastime, fruit bags provided by the church, are delivered by the children. Also, the Adult Choir entertain with Christmas music and the Senior Adult Ministry (Young At Heart) provides Christmas presents to selected residents.
